The Cashew Journey
Cashew nuts are harvested when mature, and the nut and pseudo-fruit (apple) are separated. The nut is the most valuable product and is separated from the apple which can be collected for processing.
After collecting the cashew nuts, they are sun-dried, and samples are taken from each type. These samples are used to inform potential buyers about the quality and yield of a particular batch.
One important aspect of preserving nuts for storage and transportation is the process of packing them into bags. This process involves careful attention to detail to ensure that the nuts are protected from damage and spoilage.
